We’re really excited about this year’s event as we’ve grown and have picked up some new swag along with a snazzy new banner. See if you can find us while you’re watching all of the other incredible entries!

We’re currently planning our 2024/2025 season so if you’re looking for a game with either the Natural Born Thrillers or the Glenmore Reservoir Dogs, drop an email to info@chinookcity.ca and we’ll get a conversation going!

The 2014 season for the Glenmore Reservoir Dogs and their sister team the Kill Jills has come to a close.

It has been an incredible season for both of our A level travel teams! The Dogs finished at 15 wins and 3 losses for the past 12 months with the Jills sitting with 7 wins and 7 losses.

In tournament play, the Dogs swept Salt Lake City in October of 2013, Mayday Mayhem in Colorado and achieved 2nd place at Flat Track Fever 2014 losing only 2 of 7 games in the weekend. Returning to Salt Lake City the Dogs lost against a restructured Uinta Madness but won against both the Denver Ground Control and Lane County Concussion. At home and away the Dogs played both the Red Deer Dreadnaughts twice and River City Riot being undefeated in those 3 games.

The Jills attended their first out of country tournament in 2014, playing at Spokarnage in Spokane Washington for their season starter where they played Lilac City, Electric City and TOAST winning against Electric City to finish after their third elimination game with their second loss. At Flat Track Fever, the Jills took third place overall with wins against OCDG and CARDA but losing their 3rd game to E-Ville Dead and 4th to STAHR!

In travel action, the Kill Jills played and won against the Gas City Rollers and Magic City in Billings, Montana. There were also losses though, with away games against the CRDA Thrashin’ Lassies and a very strong Avalanche City in Fernie, BC splitting their away games.

At home the Jills were exceptionally strong against both the CRDA B52 Bellas and the Sugar Skulls (from Regina) but suffered a loss against WFTDA Apprentice team, the Winnipeg All Stars who played a really strong game.

Both teams are recuperating in their off season and will return to practice and pre-season scrimmages in mid January with the season to kick off with a Dogs trip to Wild West Showdown in Bremerton, Washington the weekend of February 27th, 2015.

Over the holidays, the Bonnie Situation (1 win so far!) will be playing Foothills Roller Derby Association in Okotoks on November 30th and are practising along with our Fresh Meat crew!

Watch for updates on the this site and on our Facebook pages for more games!
